The beginning of this collaboration is that I was a heavy reader of "Doraemon" when I was a schoolboy. I re-created "Doraemon" as a fashion item for adults. Because I wanted to express "Doraemon" as a cool character, I used only black and white. By taking Doraemon's icons, a bell and a wrapping cloth of time, I think that the sneakers are more "Doraemon". When you wear this sneakers, you can look into to both the past and the future. Which one do you want? I include dreaming in this collaboration.

自分が小学生の頃の愛読書であったドラえもんと、ぜひコラボをしたいと思ったことがこのプロジェクトのきっかけです。国民的キャラクターのドラえもんを、大人目線のファッションアイテムにしてみました。モノトーンでシンプルなデザインにしたのは、ドラえもんをクールに表現したかったから。鈴やタイムふろしき仕様で、ドラえもん度かなりアップしたと思います。このスニーカーを履く事によって、過去にも行けるし、未来にも行ける……あなたはどっち？的な遊び心も入れ込んでいます。
